The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Classic looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Ddddddd is fending him off so far but Classic persists. Nope, Ddddddd circles away and we're back to standing.
Ddddddd Ddddddd seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ddddddd scores with a head kick.
A right-left combo lands from Ddddddd.
Ddddddd lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Ddddddd misses with a series of wild punches.
Classic thows a body shot but no joy.
Ddddddd scores with the left hand. Classic knows he should have avoided that one.
Classic changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Ddddddd looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
My spies in Ultimate MMA Training Center inform me that Classic has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
Ddddddd is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Classic is controlling him well.
Classic is looking to take a break and control but Ddddddd is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Classic has an Americana. Ddddddd didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Classic is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Classic hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
