Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Benedykt Jaworsky!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Frank DeNino!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Winston Alpacca and David Hoff.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jaworsky drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Jaworsky looking to pass the guard.

Jaworsky thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Jaworsky drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jaworsky jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Jaworsky drops back looking for a leg! DeNino is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and DeNino manages to kick Jaworsky off! Jaworsky jumps back into DeNino's guard.

Jaworsky is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
DeNino has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
DeNino looking for a sweep. Not yet DeNino, not yet.

Jaworsky pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. DeNino is keeping the position for now.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Frank DeNino.
Horrible takedown by Jaworsky or perhaps it was just good defense by DeNino which made him look bad.
Jaworsky shoots in and drives through. DeNino sprawls well.
Jaworsky looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Jaworsky shoots for a double leg takedown but DeNino sprawls well. He's pushed Jaworsky's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Benedykt Jaworsky. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Jaworsky closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
You can see the frustration on DeNino's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

DeNino tries to buck Jaworsky off but Jaworsky is having none of it.

Jaworsky thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Jaworsky is looking to take a break and control but DeNino is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
DeNino tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Jaworsky working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Benedykt Jaworsky dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


A punch lands to the side of Jaworsky 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Jaworsky dives in and grabs DeNino's left leg, looking for a takedown. DeNino pushes down on Jaworsky's head and hops out.
Jaworsky looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? DeNino is fending him off so far but Jaworsky persists. Nope, DeNino circles away and we're back to standing.
DeNino connects with a right that clearly hurt Jaworsky. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as DeNino proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Jaworsky collapses and taps out under the pressure!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:38 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Frank DeNino!
Frank DeNino spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
