The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khuratov tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lavezzi swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Lavezzi drives through and clinches with Khuratov against the ropes.

Lavezzi has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Khuratov regains guard immediately.

Lavezzi feints a jab promting Khuratov to slip. Lavezzi then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Khuratov slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Lavezzi gets control of Khuratov's arms and successfully pulls guard. Lavezzi will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Lavezzi is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Lavezzi is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Khuratov looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Lavezzi pushes past his half guard into mount!
