Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Benito Sobral (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Frost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Frost has chosen God Save The Queen as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Benito Sobral!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jack Frost!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Gregory Folan and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frost looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Sobral misses with a low kick.

Frost will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Frost closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Sobral to the mat! Sobral manages to get full guard.

Sobral had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Frost is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Sobral Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Frost's back instead.

Frost drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Frost jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Sobral goes for a takedown in the clinch but Frost prevents it.

Frost is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Sobral knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Sobral for a finish.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Frost uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Frost looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

and Frost decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Sobral's guard.
Frost passes Sobral's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Frost has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Sobral is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Frost yanks on the arm and Sobral is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Frost.
