Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kaspars Daugavins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roy Mustang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mustang has chosen Little Rock as his entrance music. This should be a great matchup!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daugavins throws a hook but Mustang blocks it.
Daugavins's corner calls for a 1-2. Daugavins obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Mustang uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Daugavins.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Mustang's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Daugavins connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Mustang scrambles back to his feet.

Daugavins throws a looping overhand right but Mustang ducks down to avoid it.
Mustang looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Daugavins lands with a hook. Mustang tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Daugavins takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Mustang shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Mustang was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Mustang takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Mustang has an Americana. Daugavins didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Mustang is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Mustang hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
