Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Valeri Chadov and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chalidow tries to clinch but Rose is having none of it.
Chalidow clinches up with Rose and pushes him back against the cage.
Chalidow is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Rose is defending well.
Chalidow tries to score a body lock takedown but Rose shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Rose gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Chalidow.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mamed Chalidow. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Rose is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Chalidow drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Chalidow has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Rose is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Chalidow pulls Rose into guard.

Chalidow manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Rose is wriggling around trying to escape.
Chalidow looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Rose tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Rose is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Chalidow is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Rose to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Rose shrugs it off.

Chalidow wants to control the pace but Rose is squirming around nicely.
Rose is in all sorts of trouble here.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rose slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Rose moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Chalidow drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Chalidow seems to have locked his on tight now - Rose screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Chalidow, as he picks up the win!
