Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bryan Larocque (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adelard Desormeaux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Larocque might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Immortal Technique- Creation & Destruction. Desormeaux has chosen Ça va venir découragez-vous pas as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Adelard Desormeaux has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Larocque throws the kick towards the body but Desormeaux avoids it.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Desormeaux.
Desormeaux lands a jab to the nose.
Desormeaux connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Desormeaux scores with a nice body kick.
Desormeaux has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Larocque is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Good leg kick by Desormeaux there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Larocque looks to score with a jab to the body but Desormeaux is just out of range.
Desormeaux throws a body shot but no joy.
Desormeaux gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Larocque.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Larocque takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Larocque scoring well with a low kick there.
Desormeaux goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Desormeaux lands a nice hook to Larocque's body. Larocque takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Larocque looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Larocque throws a body shot but no joy.

Desormeaux closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Desormeaux lands in his opponent's guard.

Desormeaux looking to sit in guard and control but Larocque gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Desormeaux is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Larocque got a little sloppy there for a moment and Desormeaux has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Larocque has managed to get both his arms back between Desormeaux's legs - danger averted.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Desormeaux is on top in guard.

Desormeaux lands a couple of good shots and Larocque has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Desormeaux misses with an elbow to the head.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Desormeaux has got one arm under Larocque's chin. This could be trouble... Larocque trying to control the other hand but Desormeaux gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Larocque has tapped out! The fight is over!

Adelard Desormeaux gave a mention to Zipp Zapp in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
