The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Damascus doesn't manage to clinch there - Slater circles away.

Slater throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Damascus was covering up waiting for the punch and Slater finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Slater pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Slater loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Damascus scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Slater land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Slater stands and salutes the crowd.
