The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab by Mann.
Mann falls off balance throwing a combination
and Hunter counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Mann throws an overhand right that lands on Hunter's shoulder, as Hunter tries to avoid the shot.
Mann moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Hunter closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Mann to the mat! Mann manages to get full guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Hunter trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Mann is trying to hold Hunter in close to prevent damage but Hunter has managed to pass into half guard.

Mann misses with an uppercut. Hunter saw that one coming.

Hunter shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Hunter showed some decent athleticism there.
Mann is looking for a sweep. Hunter is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Mann tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Hunter has advanced to mount. Uh oh.

Hunter takes Mann's back, avoiding a couple of desperation strikes from the bottom.
Sooper Mann overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Hunter biding his time, looking for the opening.

You can see the frustration on Mann's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Mann manages to reverse the position and now he's in Hunter's guard. Nice work there by Mann.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Hunter can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Mann controls the pace.

Sooper Mann has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Mann throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Mann throws a lazy right hand but Hunter sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Mann connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Hunter's hands.
Hunter fails to land with a series of punches.
Mann feints and then cracks Hunter's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Hunter down.

Mann throws a lazy uppercut
enabling Hunter to counter with a crisp jab.
Mann throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Hunter stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Hunter chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Mann can pounce on him.
Hunter blocks a head kick by Mann.
Hunter changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mann tries to avoid it but Hunter manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mann to the ground. Mann escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Mann throws a looping overhand right but Hunter ducks down to avoid it.
Mann misses with a hook.
Mann throws a front kick that sends Hunter stumbling back into the cage.
Hunter has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Mann.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Hunter.
Sooper Mann has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Travis Hunter.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hunter tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

and Hunter cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Mann leaves Hunter with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Mann fails to land with a series of punches.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Hunter crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Mann - the referee stops the clock and Hunter gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Mann. Hunter manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Hunter tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Mann defends well and Hunter ends up having to push Mann into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Hunter takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Mann breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Mann tries to bum rush Hunter with a series of wild strikes but Hunter uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Mann misses with a hook. Hunter ducked under it nicely.

A looping hook to the body misses from Mann. Hunter does a little dance to reset his feet.

Hunter shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mann pinned against the cage. Mann gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Mann with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

Mann lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Mann lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Mann dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Hunter lands with an uppercut that bounces Mann off the cage and back into range.

Mann throws a looping overhand right but Hunter ducks down to avoid it.

Hunter looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
We've been told by Mann's head coaches at Ground Zero London that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Hunter tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mann sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hunter somewhat.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hunter is defended easily by Mann.
Mann lands a head kick. Hunter smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Mann is looking to slow Hunter down with leg kicks.
Mann connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Mann tests Hunter's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Mann buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Hunter shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Mann sprawls well. Mann wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hunter gets slowly back to his feet.
Hunter's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Mann misses with a series of wild punches.
Hunter goes for a double leg but Mann avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Mann continues to drive forward.
Hunter is trying to drag Mann to the mat but Mann just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
