Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roy Tyson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodo Pavarotti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pavarotti has chosen William Tell Overture as his entrance music. Roy Tyson has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Pavarotti as Tyson shoots in.
Tyson shoots for a double leg takedown but Pavarotti sprawls well. He's pushed Tyson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Tyson.
Tyson moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Pavarotti can't do much from the bottom here.

Pavarotti is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Tyson wants to control but Pavarotti is keeping him busy.
Pavarotti is pressing down on Tyson's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Tyson keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Pavarotti's head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pavarotti is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Tyson wants to control from the top but Pavarotti keeps moving.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Tyson shoots in and bounces Pavarotti off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Pavarotti seems keen to control Tyson's posture.

Tyson thows a big elbow that misses.

Tyson sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Pavarotti's guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Pavarotti pulls Tyson in close to his closed guard and prevents Tyson from doing any damage or advancing position.
Tyson passes Pavarotti's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Tyson throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Pavarotti has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Tyson is working away from the top position though.

Tyson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Pavarotti keeps working.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Tyson connects with a nice short shot to Pavarotti's temple.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.

and Tyson counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tyson won't allow Pavarotti to sweep him here.
Pavarotti should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Pavarotti has his feet on Tyson's thighs here. He's pushed Tyson off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Tyson screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
