Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Collin Hinton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Collin Hinton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jay Jones!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Chad Campbell and Dean Styles.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jones fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Hinton, pushing him back against the cage.
Hinton wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Jones has him pressed against the cage.

Hinton's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Jones misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Hinton.
A lazy left from Jones finds it's target.

Hinton gets caught napping as Jones dives in and scores a takedown. Hinton manages to retain guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Jones trying to control the position from guard on top but Hinton is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Hinton being controlled here, momentarily.
Hinton has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Jones has passed into side control.
Jones throws an elbow but Hinton slips to the side and avoids it well.
Hinton tries to improve position but can't.
This has been an exciting period of action!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jones wants to stand but Hinton has his arm trapped.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hinton is trying to get back to half guard.

Jones decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Hinton tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Hinton tries to sprawl but Jones drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Hinton has his hands clasped together around Jones's back. He's all about the action.
Hinton trying to control from the bottom.
Hinton is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jones is taking a breather. Hinton says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Jones gets a takedown into half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hinton has his hands clasped together around Jones's back. He's all about the action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jay Jones dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Hinton manages to work his way to half guard, despite Jones's best efforts.

Hinton might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Hinton is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Jones pulls his head out easily.
Hinton is staying active underneath Jones, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Hinton clinches.

Hinton escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Jones.

Jones tries for a kimura but Hinton is defending well.
Jones postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
You can see the frustration on Hinton's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Jones is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Hinton knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
I wouldn't like to be where Hinton is right now.

Hinton has a hand on Jones's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Jones takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

Jones with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Jones breaks from Hinton's wrist control and lands an elbow.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Jones is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Hinton is surviving well by controlling Jones's body position as best he can.

Jay Jones comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Jones winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
