PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Frank Dux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yancy Malaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dux kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Bloodsport - Fight to Survive. With a record of 16 - 7 - 3, fighting out of Montreal, Yancy Malaki!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, William Peck and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dux ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Malaki moves away.
Malaki scores with a punch to the head.
Dux fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Malaki is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Malaki throws a good cross that connects.
Malaki ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Frank Dux seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Malaki missing with a left hand there. Dux was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

A close second round but Yancy Malaki will probably get the nod - 10:9.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Malaki goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Yancy Malaki.
I think Malaki has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
