Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Redof Castro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Capra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Capra fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Capra tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Castro misses with a head kick.
Capra tries to close the distance and clinch but Castro swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Capra should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

It looks like Randy Capra has been cut.
Capra is pressed up against the cage. Castro has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Capra down to the mat. Capra avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Castro takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Capra is breathing heavily.

Castro kicks Capra off and gets to his feet.
Capra throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Castro's waist but Castro gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Capra off to one side.
Redof Castro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Castro throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Capra.

Castro has Capra up against the cage in a clinch.

Castro breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Castro has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Capra is trying to keep an underhook but Castro manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Castro loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Capra scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Castro land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Castro stands and salutes the crowd.
