The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maangas throws a series of strikes that have Stanley backpedaling.
Stanley moves in looking to clinch but Maangas pushes him off.
A swing and a miss from Stanley.
Maangas tries to close the distance and clinch up but Stanley swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Stanley throws a combination that misses
and Maangas counters with a one-two to the body.
Fox Stanley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Stanley misses with an attempted mid kick.

and Maangas counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Stanley looks to score with a jab to the body but Maangas is just out of range.

Maangas throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Maangas swats away the attempt to clinch by Stanley.

Stanley fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

and Maangas counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Stanley shoots for a double leg takedown but Maangas sprawls well. He's pushed Stanley's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Stanley is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Maangas has his hands clasped together but Stanley extends and breaks Maangas's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Stanley.
