Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tyson Osborne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lagar Prechnyan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lagar Prechnyan looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lagar Prechnyan!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Nard Betker and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Osborne moves out of range of the body kick from Prechnyan.
Prechnyan looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Prechnyan throws a left and a right that both miss
and Osborne counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Prechnyan throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Prechnyan throws a head kick that misses

and Osborne holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Osborne pulls guard effortlessly.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Prechnyan postures up in Osborne's guard and throws a big left but Osborne blocks it.

Osborne is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Prechnyan decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Osborne, up you get!

Osborne could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
A looping hook to the body misses from Prechnyan. Osborne does a little dance to reset his feet.

Osborne takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Prechnyan has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

and Osborne counters with a nice double leg into side control. Prechnyan won't be happy with that.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Osborne decides to stand up, so the ref orders Prechnyan to his feet.

Prechnyan rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Osborne moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Osborne gets control of Prechnyan's arms and successfully pulls guard. Osborne will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Prechnyan throws an elbow that misses. Osborne uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Prechnyan's guard. Nice move by Osborne!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Prechnyan is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Osborne throws a strike but Prechnyan rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Osborne slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Osborne accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Prechnyan has his foot on Osborne's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Osborne works his way back into a safe position though.

Osborne postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Prechnyan is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Osborne, into his guard.
Osborne wants to get back to his feet but Prechnyan is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Osborne lands a nice short elbow.
Osborne is nestled in close to Prechnyan, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Prechnyan regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Osborne.

Osborne drops back, looking for a kneebar! Prechnyan looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Prechnyan looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Prechnyan!
Prechnyan wants to lay and pray for a moment but Osborne keeps working.

Prechnyan decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Prechnyan throws a right and a left that both miss.
Prechnyan throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Osborne counters with a two punch combo.
Prechnyan rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Osborne makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

Osborne closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Prechnyan's guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Prechnyan controls Osborne momentarily but Osborne frees himself.

Lagar Prechnyan has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Osborne has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Osborne, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
