Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Reg Throb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Reed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Throb comes to the cage accompanied by Sexes On Fire. Mark Reed has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Reg Throb!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Throb cracks Reed with a right hand to the side of the head.
Reed takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Reg Throb seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Reed has his takedown stuffed

and Throb counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Throb.
Reed working a defensive guard here.
Throb wanted to stand there but Reed had control of the position.
Reed doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Throb has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Reed is on top in guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Throb is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Reed is aware though and is defending well.
Throb keeping moving, preventing Reed from controlling successfully.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Throb wants to get back to his feet but Reed is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Throb has control of Reed's left arm, preventing Reed from doing any damage.
Reed is stalling in the full guard.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Mark Reed hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Reed is looking to chop away at Throb's legs.
Throb definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Throb scores with a shot to the body.
Reed fails with a takedown attempt.
Throb throws a head kick but Reed moves out of range.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Throb scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Reed shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Throb as he jumps to the side.
Reg Throb has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mark Reed.
Throb avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Throb feints a jab promting Reed to slip. Throb then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Reed slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Reed has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Throb scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Throb working away.
Throb lands a few punches from side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Throb wants to lay and pray for a moment but Reed keeps working.
Reed sneaks back into half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Reed wants to improve his position but Throb is controlling well.

Throb is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Reed is just riding it out for now. Throb eventually gives up the hold.
Reed is pressing down on Throb's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Throb trying to control the position from guard on top but Reed is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Reed is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Throb rolls with it to try and escape but Reed cranks on the arm and Throb is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
