Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dom Sankey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Palmer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dom Sankey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mark Palmer!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Palmer moves out of range of the body kick from Sankey.
Sankey keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

and Palmer decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Sankey's guard.
Sankey is trying to keep Palmer in close.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Palmer's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Sankey is on top in guard.
Sankey is stalling in the full guard.

Sankey wants to stand but Palmer has his arm trapped.

Sankey has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Palmer takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Sankey is really struggling to control Palmer but he's trying to hold on to the position.

so Palmer counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Sankey wants to sweep but no luck.
Sankey is trying to control the position from the bottom.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Sankey is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Palmer closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Sankey escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Palmer gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Sankey is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Sankey looking to hit a scissor sweep but Palmer is one step ahead there.
Sankey wants to stand and escape but Palmer is having none of it.
Dom Sankey has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Mark Palmer comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Palmer has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
