Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rafael Mendes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matty Redert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mendes comes into the arena with Wiggle blaring out of the sound system. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, William Gold and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mendes shoots for a double leg takedown but Redert sprawls well. He's pushed Mendes's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Mendes closes this distance looking for a takedown but Redert circles away.
Redert looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Redert thows a body kick. Mendes tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Redert throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Mendes is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
