Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 65 - 28 - 7, fighting out of Helsinki, James Bomb!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 31 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vince Dixon!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Cecil Peabody and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bomb scores with a spinning back kick!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Dixon has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Bomb after a bit of a struggle.

Bomb breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Dixon fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Dixon tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bomb swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Dixon throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Dixon swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Bomb darts in and out, connecting with a jab.


It looks like Vince Dixon has been cut.
Bomb throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Dixon tries to clinch up but Bomb circles away and keeps his distance.
Bomb connects with an inside leg kick.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Dixon is looking to chop away at Bomb's legs.

Bomb closes the distance and clinches.
Dixon trying to land knees to the body.
Our sources have told us that Bomb has been working on his elbows in the gym.

Bomb escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Vince Dixon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bomb avoids the head kick by Dixon.
Dixon misses with a kick to the body
and Bomb counters with a body kick.
Dixon tries to land a leg kick but Bomb saw it coming and moves away.
Dixon ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bomb moves away.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bomb fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Dixon looks winded!
Bomb throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Bomb lands a left and a right that send Dixon crashing to the mat, dazed. Bomb thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!


Dixon is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bomb dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Dixon. That did some damage!
Dixon is still on wobbly legs! Can Bomb finish him?
Dixon bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Bomb comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Dixon falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Dixon was out before he hit the floor!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). James Bomb!
James Bomb retains his heavyweight title!
After winning the bout, James Bomb thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
