Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tom Watson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Primark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Primark throws a wild body kick that Watson sees coming a mile off.
Primark keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Watson shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Primark is still in real trouble! Can Watson finish him?
Watson takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Primark wants to control but Watson is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Primark seems to have recovered his senses.

Watson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Primark prevents Watson from improving position.
Primark is looking for a sweep.
Watson gets to mount! Primark was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

Primark is trying to maintain the position but Watson is very close to passing his half guard.
Primark throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

Primark is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Watson's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Watson's back!

Despite being in the dominant position, Dave Primark just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Watson cracks Primark with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tom Watson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Primark is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Primark wants to control from the top but Watson keeps moving.

Watson stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Primark.

Watson's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Primark tries to control but Watson wriggling away.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Primark throws a front kick that sends Watson stumbling back into the cage.
Watson lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Primark darts in and clinches Watson up against the cage.
Watson is working for takedown but Primark is calmly controlling the position for now.

Primark breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Watson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Watson lands with a right and another and another! Primark is in big trouble! Watson lands again and this time it's lights out for Primark! A quality knockout there for Watson.
