The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Collins closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Collins wants to lay and pray for a moment but Adams keeps working.
Collins looks up at the clock and then as Adams takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Collins smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

It looks like Brian Adams has been cut.
Adams managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Collins.

Adams moves in looking to clinch but Collins pushes him off.

Adams shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Collins pinned against the cage. Collins gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
