The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sesay tries to close the distance and clinch but Salazar swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Sesay shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Salazar counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Salazar.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
Salazar scores a nice knee to the body.
Sesay blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Salazar is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Sesay is defending well for now.
Sesay wants to break the clinch but can't.

Salazar is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Sesay can't fight it off and eventually Salazar manages to take the fight to the floor. Sesay looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Salazar really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sesay. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
