Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kaname Tosen!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Sosuke Kotani and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cade fails in his attempt to clinch.
Cade throws a hook but Tosen avoids it easily.
Cade swings widly with a right hand
and Tosen counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Cade's guard now.
Tosen throwing strikes from guard but Cade blocks nicely.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tosen won't allow Cade to get back to his feet.

Cade tries to bum rush Tosen with a series of wild strikes but Tosen uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Cade tries to close the distance and clinch but Tosen swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

so Tosen counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Cade pushes Tosen off and scrambles back to his feet.
This has been an exciting period of action!

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Kaname Tosen wasn't active enough on the ground.
Cade has closed the distance and engaged Tosen in a clinch.
Cade is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Tosen is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Cade is defending well.
Tosen pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Cade throws a hook to the side of Tosen's head but Tosen sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Tosen goes for a double leg but Cade avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Cade continues to drive forward.
Carl Cade has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kaname Tosen.
Tosen tries to score a body lock takedown but Cade shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Cade blocking some punches.
Tosen breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A bone on bone clash there as Tosen blocks the leg kick.
Cade throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Cade throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Tosen takes one to the side of the head.
Tosen ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Cade moves away.
Cade wants to clinch.

Tosen lands with a light punch inside.
Tosen throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Cades head.
Tosen turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

Cade is trying to get back to his feet.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Cade trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Check out the look on Tosen's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Cade throws a lazy uppercut
and Tosen counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Cade's guard now.
Tosen wants to control from the top but Cade keeps moving.
Cade wants to get back to his feet but Tosen is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Cade closes the distance but Tosen moves to the side
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
and Tosen counters with a slapping leg kick.
Cade throws a poor cross that misses
and Tosen counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tosen tries to pass to full mount but Cade defends it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tosen wants to pass the guard but Cade is defending well.
Cade wants to get back to his feet.

Tosen moves nicely into side control.
Tosen is trying to get an arm triangle but Cade is defending well.
Tosen moves into full mount!

Cade is squirming around, avoiding Tosen's attempts to control the action.
Cade is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! Tosen has taken his back!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Tosen working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet.

Kaname Tosen showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Cade shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Tosen eats them both and turns towards Cade to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Cade will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Cade on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Cade lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Tosen circles away quickly and effectively.
Cade throws a big shot that misses.
A nice leg kick lands there from Cade.
Cade misses with an uppercut. Tosen saw that one coming.
Tosen throws a series of punches but Cade avoids them all with ease.
Tosen bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Tosen gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Cade.
Cade uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Tosen has time to react.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Cade finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Cade throws a nice looking combination but Tosen bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Tosen fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Cade, pushing him back against the cage.
Tosen throws a head punch that misses.
Tosen escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Cade tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Tosen manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Cade lands with a right that hurts Tosen. Tosen looks to clinch but Cade throws a short knee that drops Tosen. This one is all over!
