Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nick Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fionn McCool (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz is looking to clinch but McCool is avoiding it.
Diaz slips under a jab from McCool.
McCool dodges the punch combination from Diaz.

McCool lands a big right hand that sends Diaz crashing to the mat! McCool stays standing though and waves Diaz back to his feet!

Diaz is rocked!

It looks like Nick Diaz has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Diaz tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Oh Diaz is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
McCool throws a head kick but Diaz moves out of range.
Diaz misses with a takedown attempt - McCool sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
McCool is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Diaz flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Diaz is out cold! McCool holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
