Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tomas Kalnoky!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Haha Urajoke!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Matheus Silva and Paulo Santos.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kalnoky misses with a takedown attempt - Urajoke sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Kalnoky closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Urajoke tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kalnoky swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Urajoke tries for a takedown but Kalnoky sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

and Kalnoky takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Kalnoky fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Urajoke avoids it really well and circles away.

Urajoke throws a series of punches but Kalnoky avoids them all with ease.

Kalnoky drops back looking for a leg! Urajoke is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Urajoke manages to kick Kalnoky off! Kalnoky jumps back into Urajoke's guard.

Kalnoky is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

That was a close round but I would say that Tomas Kalnoky will probably get the nod.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

We've been hearing good reports from Kalnoky's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
