The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mayer has his takedown stuffed

and Kelenski counters with a takedown into side control.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kelenski can do anything to dispel that myth.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Ivor Kelenski hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Kelenski shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Mayer eats them both and turns towards Kelenski to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Sloppy strikes from Kelenski. Those never looked like landing.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kelenski tries to bum rush Mayer with a series of wild strikes but Mayer uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Kelenski scores with a one two! Mayer had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Kelenski is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Mayer can't fight it off and eventually Kelenski manages to take the fight to the floor. Mayer looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Ivor Kelenski comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Kelenski has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
