The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lockheart misses with a few strikes there.
Worrington misses with a series of wild punches.
Worrington misses with a double jab.
Lockheart lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Worrington lands a jab to the nose.
Lockheart fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Worrington ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Lockheart has been working on his balance at Cozad The Island, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Worrington.
A combination from Worrington does no damage.
A cross from Worrington lands.
Worrington pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Lockheart back to the cage. Worrington follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lockheart shoots in for a takedown but Worrington shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Worrington displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Lockheart.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kurt Lockheart. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Worrington scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Lockheart is rocked!

It looks like Kurt Lockheart has been cut.
Worrington changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Oh Lockheart is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Worrington batters Lockheart with a massive right followed by a huge left! Lockheart is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Worrington lands a final crushing right hand to drop Lockheart to the mat with a gruesome thud! Worrington is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!
