Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rasta Fari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sarah Northcote (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Seu Braga and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Northcote closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Northcote lands in his opponent's guard.

Northcote is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Northcote decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Fari drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Fari jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Northcote is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Northcote looking to hit a scissor sweep but Fari is one step ahead there.
Northcote has a closed guard, preventing Fari from standing up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Northcote shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Northcote was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Fari bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Northcote's guard.

Northcote manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Northcote tries to control but Fari wriggling away.

Sarah Northcote showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Fari clinches but Northcote breaks the clinch
and Northcote counters by moving into the clinch.
Fari fails to pull guard.
Northcote jumps into guard, dragging Fari to the mat.
Fari looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Fari stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Northcote swivels though and keeps the full guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Fari looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Northcote is pressing down on Fari's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Fari wants to control from the top but Northcote keeps moving.

Northcote wants to finish this one by submission but Fari is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Northcote.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Northcote cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Northcote lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Northcote can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Fari is looking to escape.
Northcote fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Fari reaches up to try and control the position but Northcote seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Fari rolls and tries to escape and now Northcote has his back!

Fari is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
