Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Barton David!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mike James!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Sergei Dronov and Konstantin Menshow.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

It looks like Barton David has been cut.

James feints and as David raises his hands in defense, James changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
David is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
David is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
David pulls James in close to prevent any damage.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Barton David just wasn't active enough.
James tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

David gets caught napping as James dives in and scores a takedown. David manages to retain guard.
David really is a fat lump.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
David keeping moving, preventing James from controlling successfully.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
James slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

That's one minute gone in the round.
David looking to hit a scissor sweep but James is one step ahead there.
James is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
James prevents David from getting back to his feet.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
David wants to sweep but no luck.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Mike James wasn't active enough on the ground.
James throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh David colapses and takes a barrage of punches from James as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and David is left battered and dazed whilst James and his camp cheer!
