Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kostas Mytilinaios (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gab Junior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Junior is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by SOLDIERS HEART. Gab Junior has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kostas Mytilinaios!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gab Junior!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Alyssa Summers and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mytilinaios rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Junior counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
We've been told by Mytilinaios's head coaches at Monsterous MMA - PIT Inc. that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Mytilinaios walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Mytilinaios shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Junior counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Mytilinaios changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Junior tries to avoid it but Mytilinaios manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Junior to the ground. Junior escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Junior throws a head kick that half lands.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Junior has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Mytilinaios changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Junior looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Mytilinaios has an Americana. Junior didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Mytilinaios is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Mytilinaios hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Kostas Mytilinaios!
