The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dudley wants to clinch.

Dudley feints and as Donotella raises his hands in defense, Dudley changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Donotella bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Dudley's guard.
Donotella stands and throws Dudley's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Dudley wants to control but Donotella postures up.
Dudley is looking for a sweep.
Dudley is not content to let Donotella control the position.

Donotella working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Donotella thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Donotella is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Dudley knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Dudley manages to work his way to half guard, despite Donotella's best efforts.
Donotella uses his free foot to push down on Dudley's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Dudley.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dudley is in all sorts of trouble here.

Donotella has hold of Dudley's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Dudley manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
