Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Da Silva walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Hume checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Da Silva lands a glancing blow to the side of Hume's head.
Da Silva chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Hume can pounce on him.
That kick from Hume tenderised Da Silva's leg. Da Silva is trying to keep his angry face on.
Hume tries to clinch but Da Silva is having none of it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Da Silva shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hume pinned against the cage. Hume gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Sawyer Hume seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

It looks like Santiago Da Silva has been cut.
Da Silva gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Hume.
Da Silva shoots in looking for a takedown but Hume manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Da Silva's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Da Silva crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Hume - the referee stops the clock and Da Silva gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Hume. Da Silva manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Our sources have told us that Hume has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight.
Da Silva's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Da Silva is trying to drag Hume to the mat but Hume just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
