The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Louza ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Williams moves away.
Williams slips a jab and a cross from Louza.
Louza fails to land with a series of punches.
Williams misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Louza looks for a takedown but Williams sprawls well.
Louza keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Williams stuns Louza with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Louza uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Williams.
Williams is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Louza.
Louza wants to clinch up but Williams keeps it at a distance.

Williams scores with a sloppy right hand. Louza should have avoided that one.
Williams throws a series of punches but Louza moves out of range.

Louza shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Williams manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Louza stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Williams swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Louza scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Williams to see if he's OK.

Louza fails to land a wild elbow strike.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Louza creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Williams sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Louza is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Williams is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Williams can do anything to dispel that myth.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Louza is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Williams is trying to escape and Louza transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Williams is forced to tap! Nice work there by Louza! Very nice indeed!
