Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Rambo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joulu Pukki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). John Rambo could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Joulu Pukki's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Rambo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 32 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Joulu Pukki!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yukihiro Shimada.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pukki takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Pukki closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Rambo did well to prevent Pukki getting side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Pukki wants to lay and pray for a moment but Rambo keeps working.
Pukki slows the pace down in half guard.
Pukki wants to take a breather but Rambo is having none of it.
Rambo wants to improve his position but Pukki is controlling well.
Rambo has a hand on Pukki's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Pukki takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
Rambo tries to hold on but Pukki pushes him away.

Pukki working for a guillotine from mount but Rambo is in no mood to give up.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Rambo is trying desperately to improve position.

Pukki looking to control but Rambo is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Pukki is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Joulu Pukki.
Rambo bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Pukki's head backwards.

Rambo lands a big head kick that sends Pukki tumbling to the mat! Rambo takes a step backwards and waves Pukki back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Joulu Pukki has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rambo slaps away a takedown attempt from Pukki, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Rambo lands a big uppercut and Pukki crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Pukki looks OK. Rambo waves Pukki back to his feet!

Pukki is rocked!
Pukki looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Pukki is still on wobbly legs! Can Rambo finish him?

A good leg kick by Rambo.
Pukki seems to have recovered his senses.
Pukki shoots and misses
and Rambo counters with a nice body kick.
John Rambo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joulu Pukki.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Rambo.
Pukki looks winded!
Rambo leaves Pukki with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Rambo.
Pukki shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Rambo defends it nicely.
Rambo cracks Pukki with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Pukki tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Pukki closes this distance looking for a takedown but Rambo circles away.
Rambo connects with a body shot.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Rambo.
Rambo lands a nice looking kick to the body. Pukki takes a step back to recover.
Rambo clobbers Pukki with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Rambo scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Rambo moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Pukki gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Rambo gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
