The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gregoire closes the distance and clinches.

Bekoyan tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Gregoire just stands there and leans against the cage.

Bekoyan has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Gregoire uses from the top position.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Bekoyan fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Gregoire avoids it really well and circles away.

We've been informed that Gregoire has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Bekoyan drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Bekoyan as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Gregoire screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Bekoyan! Nice submission victory there!
