Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jake Hempsall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Artur Kukla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hempsall comes to the cage accompanied by Everyday-Shy FX & T Power. Kukla has chosen The Eagles - Hotel California as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hempsall misses with a hook.
Hempsall swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

and Kukla decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Hempsall's guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Kukla postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Kukla is in close to Hempsall's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Hempsall is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Kukla stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hempsall swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Kukla distracts Hempsall with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Hempsall bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kukla's guard.

Kukla is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Kukla has a closed guard, preventing Hempsall from standing up.

Kukla bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hempsall's guard.
Hempsall is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Kukla is chipping away with strikes.
Kukla looks up at the clock and then as Hempsall takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Kukla smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Hempsall misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Hempsall cracks Kukla with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Kukla throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Jake Hempsall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hempsall swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

It looks like Artur Kukla has been cut.

Hempsall scores with a sloppy right hand. Kukla should have avoided that one.

and Kukla counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Kukla works over Hempsall with some ground and pound from guard.

Hempsall escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kukla gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Kukla lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Kukla postures up and lands a big shot to Hempsall's brow.

Kukla stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Jake Hempsall is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Hempsall fails to land with a series of punches.
Hempsall is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Hempsall misses with a looping right.
Hempsall swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Kukla looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kukla is defended easily by Hempsall.
Hempsall lands with a nice combination. Kukla backs away looking to recover.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Hempsall's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Hempsall lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Kukla at a distance.

Hempsall lands a left and a right that send Kukla crashing to the mat, dazed. Hempsall thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Kukla is still on wobbly legs! Can Hempsall finish him?
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kukla ducks under a wild hook from Hempsall.
Hempsall fakes the body blow, causing Kukla to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Kukla goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
