The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Confortola closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Booth is trying to control Confortola's posture but Confortola avoids it.
Confortola trying to control the position but Booth is working away.
Booth can't do much from the bottom here.

Confortola is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Booth is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Confortola looks up at the clock and then as Booth takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Confortola smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Booth is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Booth tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Confortola easily slips into full mount!
Booth sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Confortola trying to control the action but Booth is working from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Booth trying to hold on to Confortola's head to control him but Confortola postures up.
Booth regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Confortola.
Booth really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Confortola wants to pass the guard but Booth is keeping the position.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Confortola passes Booth's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Confortola uses his free foot to push down on Booth's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Booth.

Confortola has isolated one of Booth's arms. Booth looking to fight him off but Confortola twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
