The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Silva misses the target.
Silva keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

James tries to close the distance and clinch but Silva swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Silva looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
James digs a good body shot into Silva's ribs.
James throws a hook but Silva avoids it easily.
James does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Silva punishes James's body with a nice straight punch.

James wants to break free but Silva has control.
James's coach down at Evil Emp-HEAD HUNTERS FIGHTCLUB ELITE was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on James's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
