Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Genaro Jarvis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dimon Poltos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dimon Poltos will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Poltos shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Jarvis eats them both and turns towards Poltos to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Jarvis throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Poltos was covering up waiting for the punch and Jarvis finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Jarvis won't allow Poltos to get back to his feet.

Jarvis has gone for a leg lock! Poltos slips out almost immediately though and dives into Jarvis's guard.

Jarvis is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Poltos trying to stand up but can't free himself from Jarvis's guard.

Poltos stands and steps away. Jarvis gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Poltos throws a series of punches but Jarvis avoids them all with ease.
Jarvis really is a fat lump.
Left hook, right uppercut from Poltos.
Poltos throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jarvis.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jarvis.
Jarvis throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Poltos's waist but Poltos gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jarvis off to one side.

Jarvis tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Poltos paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Poltos tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Jarvis throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.

A combination from Poltos does no damage.
Poltos misses with a few strikes there.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Poltos enables Jarvis to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Poltos manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Poltos wants to stand and escape but Jarvis is having none of it.
Poltos really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jarvis. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Jarvis scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Jarvis stands up over Poltos, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Poltos has momentary wrist control but Jarvis slips an elbow through the middle.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Jarvis shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Poltos manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Jarvis might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Jarvis drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Jarvis seems to have locked his on tight now - Poltos screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Jarvis, as he picks up the win!
