Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Joe Walters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wojciech Durlak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Joe Walters!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Wojciech Durlak!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Durlak throws a series of punches but Walters avoids them all with ease.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Walters throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Durlak's waist but Durlak gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Walters off to one side.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Walters feints and as Durlak raises his hands in defense, Walters changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Joe Walters just wasn't active enough.

Walters shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Durlak's guard.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Walters, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
