Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Meguru Takayanagi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Issac Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Takayanagi's entrance music is now. A fine choice. Issac Thompson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Thompson gets caught flat footed, as Takayanagi shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Thompson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Takayanagi has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Thompson has managed to get both his arms back between Takayanagi's legs - danger averted.

Takayanagi escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Thompson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Thompson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Thompson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Takayanagi swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Thompson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

That was a close second round but I would say that Meguru Takayanagi will probably get the nod.

Well Thompson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Issac Thompson tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
