Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Gary Oak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gaseous Segason (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Oak kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Pokemon Theme. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gaseous Segason!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Eddie Farnsworth and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Segason looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Oak slaps away a takedown attempt from Segason, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Segason lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
A lazy body kick from Segason
and Oak moves into the clinch.
Oak breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Oak lands with a nice body punch.
Some wild striking there from Segason.
Oak keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Segason shoots in looking for a takedown. Oak tries to sprawl out of it but Segason keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Oak manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Gary Oak has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gaseous Segason.
Segason misses with a head kick.
Segason shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Oak sprawls well. Oak wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Segason gets slowly back to his feet.
Oak rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Segason moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Segason takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Oak shoots in for a double leg but Segason sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Oak is breathing heavily.
That kick from Oak tenderised Segason's leg. Segason is trying to keep his angry face on.
A looping hook to the body misses from Oak. Segason does a little dance to reset his feet.

Oak on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Segason looks to land a right hand but Oak moved out of range.
Segason shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Gary Oak seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Segason tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Oak misses with a body kick.
Segason has closed the distance and engaged Oak in a clinch.
Segason's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Segason throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Segason shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Oak as he avoids it easily.

Oak works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Segason tries to close the distance and clinch up but Oak swats him away and circles back towards the center.

A big left from Oak misses.
Oak scores with a punch to the head.
Oak goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Segason checks a leg kick.

Segason tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Oak cracks Segason with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Segason tries to close the distance and clinch up but Oak swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Oak takes a swing at Segason's ribcage but misses.
Segason tries to clinch but Oak is having none of it.
Oak leaves Segason with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Oak darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Oak darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Oak wants to work for an arm triangle but Segason is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
This has been an exciting period of action!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Segason has his hands clasped together around Oak's back. He's all about the action.
Oak knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Segason on the ground.
Oak prevents Segason from standing back up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Segason shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Oak is looking to control Segason's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Oak avoid being mounted?
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Segason is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Segason landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Segason moves into full mount! Oak won't be happy about that!

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Segason cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Oak takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Oak is just holding on here. Segason manages to take his back.
Segason is looking to control Oak but Oak is wriggling around and keeping busy.
Oak is in bad spot here.
Segason trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Oak doesn't escape.

Segason is working the ground and pound. Can Oak escape?

Oak is trying to defend against the choke here but Segason has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Segason Tightens the hold and Oak taps out furiously! Segason displays superior BJJ to win the fight.

Gary Oak spoke after the fight, saying 'Uh, I had a good fight today, but he was just a little better, today. Now I gotta get back in the gym and train a lil bit harder. '.
