Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Freeman Chavez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Francisco Hulkana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chavez darts in and clinches Hulkana up against the cage.

Chavez tries to pull guard but Hulkana holds him up against the cage and eventually Chavez drops back down to his feet.
Chavez goes for a takedown attempt but Hulkana pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Hulkana will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Chavez up against the cage.
Chavez has Hulkana pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Hulkana manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Freeman Chavez. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Chavez drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Hulkana works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

Chavez wriggles free and stands up.
Chavez fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hulkana avoids it really well and circles away.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hulkana is working for a guillotine from mount but Chavez frees his head quite easily.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Hulkana tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Hulkana loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Chavez scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Hulkana land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Hulkana stands and salutes the crowd.
