PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jonathan Goldsmith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lukasz Korczynski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Goldsmith comes to the cage accompanied by Dos Equis. Lukasz Korczynski told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Korczynski connects with a good right hand that stumbles Goldsmith. Goldsmith circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Korczynski keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Goldsmith misses with an uppercut
and Korczynski counters with a three punch combo that has Goldsmith backing up. Goldsmith nods at Korczynski to acknowledge the strikes.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Korczynski lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Korczynski.
Korczynski throws a right and a left that both miss.
Goldsmith tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Korczynski defends well and Goldsmith ends up having to push Korczynski into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Goldsmith is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Korczynski is trying to break free.

Goldsmith escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Korczynski throws a leg kick that is checked
and Goldsmith counters with a nice kick to the body.

Korczynski misses with a double jab.
Goldsmith looks for a takedown but Korczynski sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jonathan Goldsmith. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Goldsmith lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Korczynski circles away quickly and effectively.
Korczynski throws a series of punches but Goldsmith moves out of range.
Korczynski throws a sloppy head kick and Goldsmith moves out of range easily.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Goldsmith has left one of his arms exposed and Korczynski doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Goldsmith screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
