The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Moreira drives through and clinches with Ai against the cage.
Ai takes a shot to the head.

It looks like Vacilo Ai has been cut.
Moreira lands a hook to the side of the head.

Moreira lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Ai is still on wobbly legs! Can Moreira finish him?

Ai tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Moreira smiles and moves away.

Ai seems to have recovered his senses.
Ai is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Moreira to keep the fight standing.

Moreira presses Ai against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Moreira lands a hook to the side of the head.
Ai looks winded!
A short body shot lands from Moreira as the two fighters clinch.
Moreira lands a nice uppercut.
Ai jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Moreira walks away with a smile on his face. Ai gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Tarzan Moreira has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vacilo Ai.
Ai walks straight into a right hand from Moreira - that's dropped him! Moreira jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Ai from any more punishment! Ai complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Tarzan Moreira decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
