Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nautica Thorn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Brown's choice of entrance music: Before The Fight Ends You - Hatebreed. Dave Brown will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nautica Thorn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Tiny Johnson and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thorn tries to score with a low kick but Brown moves his leg out of the way.
Thorn could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Thorn lands with a nice body kick.
Brown attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Thorn moves out of range as Brown throws a body kick.

Thorn feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Nautica Thorn has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Brown moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Thorn moves into the clinch.
Thorn tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Thorn wants the takedown. Brown is fighting it off but Thorn persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Brown's guard against the cage.
Thorn's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Thorn drops back looking for a leg! Brown is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Brown manages to kick Thorn off! Thorn jumps back into Brown's guard.
Brown looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Brown has his foot on Thorn's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Thorn works his way back into a safe position though.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Thorn drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Thorn seems to have locked his on tight now - Brown screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Thorn, as he picks up the win!
