PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Fred Mcdaniel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Elijah Wooten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Fred Mcdaniel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Elijah Wooten!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Wooten misses.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
A nice right hand lands inside from Mcdaniel.
Wooten has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Mcdaniel avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Mcdaniel misses with some punches.
Wooten is trying to push Mcdaniel away but Mcdaniel has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Mcdaniel really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

That was a close round but I would say that Fred Mcdaniel will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

That was a close second round but I would say that Fred Mcdaniel will probably get the nod.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Elijah Wooten hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Horrible takedown by Mcdaniel or perhaps it was just good defense by Wooten which made him look bad.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Mcdaniel, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
