Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jacob Luken (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Spike Gomes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gomes is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Johnny Cash - Hurt. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Spike Gomes!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Steve Erwin and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gomes shoots in for a takedown but Luken shows good takedown defense.
Luken tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Gomes was well out of range. Poor timing from Luken.
Luken takes the fight into the clinch.
Gomes tries to pull guard but Luken holds him up against the cage and eventually Gomes drops back down to his feet.
Gomes looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Gomes on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Horrible takedown by Gomes or perhaps it was just good defense by Luken which made him look bad.
Luken leaves Gomes with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

That was a close round but I would say that Jacob Luken will probably get the nod.
