Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jake Mahone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Turnbull (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mahone kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Blue Oyster Cult - Don't Fear the Reaper. Turnbull is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by "Haka". Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

We've been hearing reports that Mahone has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Turnbull does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

The fight stays on the outside here - Turnbull looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Mahone is looking to wear down Turnbull with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Mahone walks straight into a right hand from Turnbull - that's dropped him! Turnbull jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Mahone from any more punishment! Mahone complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
