The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gustafson displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Cunther.
Gustafson has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Gustafson fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Cunther drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Cunther tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Cunther has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Cunther is looking to take a break and control but Gustafson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Cunther has hold of Gustafson's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Gustafson seems comfortable defending it but Cunther has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Gustafson is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Gustafson is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Cunther couldn't care less - he's delighted!
